Let’s Spend the Night Together Brides open up about the ‘big night’ 
Brides expect their wedding to be the best day of their life. And a large group of them think the wedding night won’t disappoint, either. According to a recent survey of more than 2,200 Brides.com users, 52 percent of brides-to-be expect their sex lives to improve after getting married. But it’s not all roses, however. Perhaps the stresses of planning took its toll on some couples, as 76 percent of brides said their sex life simply stayed the same or worsened after getting engaged. Here are a few more of the survey findings: • 95 percent of brides planned on buying new lingerie for the wedding night/honeymoon • 92 percent of brides plan to sleep in a separate bed the night before the wedding. • 42 percent plan to abstain from sexual activity before the wedding, of which 53 percent say they’ll do so for a month or longer • 11 percent of brides say they are waiting for their wedding night before having sex for the first time |
